Mansion House, also known as Wardhill House. It is a 2-storey house with garret of 17th century date with alterations in 1801 and extensive additions in 1891. It began as a low, L-plan block, harled, with square corbie-stepped angle turret carried on a deep corbel table, and slate roof. A sympathetic 1801 mansion with pedimented dormers forms a courtyard. Large bays on the original block are presumably part of extensive 1891 'Elizabethan' style additions, most of which have since been demolished. It originally belonged to the Leslies of Warthill before passing to the Arbuthnot - Leslies.
