Cropmarks of two adjoining circular enclosures (possibly ring ditches) with faint traces of two others in immediate vicinity. A watching brief carried out by MAS in 2014 (NJ75SW0081) during topsoil stripping for a cable trench recorded a 12m long portion of one of the ring ditches at circa NJ7190951942, visible as a dark patch of soil, roughly semicircular in shape, extending a maximum 1.7m into the trench. It was thought to represent a section of the outer circumference of the most northerly of the two ring ditches visible on aerial photographs. No finds were evident on the surface and it was not further investigated as it would not be directly impacted by the cable trench.
