Details Country house now in use as a Nursing Home. Originally named Kirkville. Built to the designs of John Smith and dated 'J.K. I.P. 1825'. The northern part is by J. and W. Smith, 1848. The whole was renovated in 1924. The style is Neo-Greek. It has a single-storey and full bull-faced basement with broad eaves and constructed of rough ashlar. The east front has a Tetra-style wood Greek doric portico. The south front has a canted bay and there are twin bows on the west front.
