Details Chapel graveyard and site of chapel. OS Name Book 1864 recorded the Chapel Graveyard as a small burying ground, presumed from the name to be the site of a chapel. There is no trace of chapel, the graveyard has been cleared of the old stones and extended and is now the new parish burial ground. OS reported that no foundations or possible chapel remains had been found during grave digging. The burial ground contains the Second World War Commonwealth war grave of Battery Quartermaster Sergeant Georg Donald, Royal Engineers.
