Former farmstead, now in residential use. On the 1st edition OS map it is shown as a shallow U-plan steading with the court open to the west-southwest and an outshot to the east. A rectangular building, probably the farmhouse, is shown to the west. By the 2nd edition OS map there are two smaller buildings shown by the probable farmhouse. The current OS edition map shows that the former farmhouse and steading have been modified as two separate properties, Peathill Farmhouse and Peathill Lodge. The smaller outbuildings are shown as disused. A photographic survey was carried out in 2021 prior to proposed redevelopment at the former steading. The steading has been converted into two residential properties, Peathill Lodge and Peathill Smiddy.
