Site of standing stone. Coles in 1902 noted that it 'is noticeable from the perfect flatness of its summit, which has a rudely-triangular outline, and measures due north and south 23 inches...The base is an oblong of 21 inches by 13 inches, and girths 5 feet 8 inches. The stone is quite vertical, and 4 feet 4 inches in height.' Its condition appears to have been unchanged when visited by the OS in 1961, but it had been removed by the time of RCAHMS site visit in 1997. 1
