Cottage still in use, depicted on historic OS maps from the 1st edition onwards. It is a single storied 3-bay cottage aligned southeast-northwest with double-pitched roof, and a central entrance with window on either side of the principal elevation to the southwest. Cement-capped gable heads, slate roofed with cream ceramic ridge tiles. The whole was extended to the southeast for another two bays on the same general lines. The exterior is harled and painted, with entrance dressings of roughly hewn squared granite. The chimneys have characteristic 19th century chamfered upper corner details. There is an out-shot to the rear at the southeast end of the original structure, and various ancillary buildings to the north of the cottage.
