Farmstead, in use, dating to late 18th/early 19th century. Depicted on the 1st edition OS map of 1867 as a quadrangular steading with a small building within the central open courtyard, and an attached horsemill on the west side of the west range. Immediately to the northwest is a pond. By the time of the 2nd edition map another rectangular building had been constructed in the court. Current maps indicate substantial alteration and enlargement of the steading including infilling of the court: the ponds has also been infilled. The horsemill has been removed. The steading has a long 2-storey coursed rubble main front, of 9 bays with central segmental pend arch. There are square upper windows close under eaves (some have had cills lowered), piended roof and modern corrugated cladding. Glazing is partly original 12 and 6 pane sashes but mostly later 4 pane.
