Details Walled garden, built in the early 19th century with 18th century gates, probably those formerly on the west axis of Haddo House (NJ83SE0076), probably by John Baxter. A 20th century house (House of Formartine, NJ83SE0145) has been added within the north of the garden. The garden walls are rubble-built, and the 18th century gates have channelled piers with panelled pilasters and urns, and good contemporary wrought iron work. The garden also features a Victorian half column sundial of Peterhead granite with a good engraved metal dial with coat of arms. There is an adjacent 19th century gardener's cottage to the south (NJ83SE0091).
