Former railway station, now in residential use, built near the site of an earlier station in the late 19th century. It was an intermediate station on the Dyce-Ellon portion of the Buchan lines of the former Great North of Scotland Railway, which was opened on 18 July 1861 and closed to regular passenger traffic on 15 September 1952. It is shown on the 1st edition OS map as a small rectangular building, with a building to the south-west. On the 2nd edition OS map it has been replaced with a larger rectangular building slightly to the north of the site of the earlier station building. It has a narrow addition to the north end elevation and a pump to the south. Current maps show the building to the south-west and the pump have been removed, and there are alterations to the station, now named 'Station House'.
