Details Mansion House, designed by J Russell Mackenzie 1865, incorporating the earlier 1769 house at the centre. Of the original 1769 house only sections of masonry remain chiefly on the north front where the fenestration and eaves course is partly original. The Baronial 1865 house is 2-storey with basement and attic, built of squared granite, with a 4-storey crenellated southeast tower with ogee-capped bell turret. A semi-circular entrance feature is corbelled to square. It has a simple interior, the staircase reconstructed in circa 1958. See NJ93SW0055 for designed landscape.
