Remains of a mound consisting of a mass of burnt stones, recorded in the late 19th century and suggested to be a cairn. Pits had been dug into the mound exposing charred oak wood, but 'no bones have been found, because the cairn has never been excavated to the bottom'. OS site visit 1968 noted that the then scattered mass of stones is too amorphous to be classified and may be related to nearby depopulation, although position is good for a cairn.
