Remains of a prisoner of war camp site from World War II, Camp 110, also known as Stuartfield used initially for Italian prisoners. later a German Working Camp,. A number of buildings still survive, although in a dilapidated state. A circular concrete structure, said to be the ablutions area, still stands. Initially it housed Italian prisoners before Germans were sent there. The POWs worked on neighbouring farms till the end of the war. The Italian prisoners built their own Roman Catholic chapel, reported to have been demolished after the war. The camp was then used to house displaced persons before being abandoned.
