Details Two cottages, now in use as a hall and dwelling and formerly linked as a school, built in the 18th century. The school was founded by Messrs and linked by Nicol and Gordon in 1840. A wooden tripartite doorpiece with a gablet and bell inserted between was probably added in 1872 when it became an Episcopal School. The buildings have two-window and centre door frontages, the hall with a granite ashlar front and the former schoolhouse to the south-east is harled.
