Details Site of cairns. Several small cairns containing small finds were removed circa 1800 from the top of the brae eastwards from the 19th century croft of Cairnrickles. The tenant of Braeside reported old pits or graves filled with 'black, fatty-like, earth with small white bits of burnt bones and pieces of burnt wood- found whilst digging holes for fence posts. It is believed that the whole of the Auchmachar ridge had been studded with prehistoric remains. No further information.
