Details East lodge of Brucklay Castle Estate is built in a baronial style, designed probably by James Matthews, circa 1860. It is harled with ashlar dressings. There are two storeys with gableted dormer heads at some of the first floor windows. There is a circular angle tower with fish scale slated conical roof on the northeast corner. The gatepiers to the Estate are of a square plan with bracketed pyramidal tops. There are dwarf walls built of ashlar with balustrades.
