Details Cottage, still in use, built in circa 1821, probably by John Smith. The 1st and 2nd edition OS map also shows a U-plan kennels building to the north-west, which still remains. The B-listed cottage is a single-storey building constructed from pinned granite with a low-pitched broad eaved roof. The two window front has a distyle in antis wooden Greek Doric portico with unfluted columns.
