Details Flint tools and a stone axe head collected on Hillhead House farm in the 1950s. The flints were described as scraper type, mostly of grey coloured flint. The axe head, slightly damaged at the haft end, was of a dark grey-black stone, suggested to be similar to axes of Neolithic date, the surface described as being covered with small 'slightly oval impressions'. The flints have not been in the possession of the finder since the early 1960s and the axe was given away when the farm was sold: their present whereabouts is not known.
