Site of a manse, built in circa 1845-50, possibly by J. and W. Smith. It was a Tudor, two-storey, harled manse with granite dressings and a centre recessed porch. There was a twin-gable front, with mullion and transom crosses to windows, and symmetrical offices with a small tower. An evaluation of the garden was carried out in 2003 by MAS prior to the demolition of the manse. The depth of made-up soil in machine dug pits prevented a usual evaluation because of safety issues. Some small pieces of clay pipe stem and fragments of 19th century ceramic were recovered, however the presence or otherwise of archaeological features was not established.
