Cast iron segmental bow-backed footbridge spanning the Garbh Allt Falls. it has scissor-brace support and segmental arch rings, sheet metal deck and decorative cast-iron railings of circular motifs (circles within circles) in regular panels. Makers plate on the arch ring. The decorative railings were made by Blaikie Brothers, Aberdeen in 1878. William Simpson's watercolour of Queen Victoria sketching at the Falls was included in the Illustrated London News, 1901.
