Statue, erected in circa 1855 and painted in 1929. It is a bronze, life-size statue of a wild boar seated on its haunches, after an example at Florence (possibly at Palazzo Signoria), sited by a copse to the south of Balmoral Castle (NO29NE0023). There were originally two boards, each sited in the centre of a terrace to the west of the Castle.
