Statue, erected in 1887 by Sir Joseph Edgar Boehm. Queen Victoria attended the unveiling of the statue on 6th October, 1887. It is a bronze full-height portrait statue of Her Majesty Queen Victoria, standing, in ceremonial garb with a Tudor rose embossed skirt, crown and veil and holding an orb and sceptre. It is placed upon a tapering pedestal of squared, rock-faced granite with an inscribed panel at centre. The dedicatory panel explains that the statue was erected by the tenants and servants of Balmoral, Abergeldie and Birkhall, together with the servants in her Majesty's household, natives of Crathie, in commemoration of the fiftieth year of her reign.
