Details Depopulated settlement. The OS 1st edition shows the remains of a township annotated as 'Rumblingculter (in ruins)'. The township lies on both banks of the Gelder Burn. RCAHMS surveu in 2104 recorded the remains of six buildings and several enclosures. A kiln-barn was recorded by pre-afforestation survey in 1996.
