Remains of a cluster of seven shielings and one enclosure located on a terrace above the burn. The huts are sub-rectangular with turf walls, or turf and stone. They comprise as follows: a substantial turf and stone built building 9m x 3m which has been reduced in length from 9m to 6.5m. A 6m diameter circular enclosure with a stone and turf wall. Two adjacent structures, one of turf and stone built (4.5m x 2.5m), the other turf (3m x 2m). Three others ranging from 5m x 3m to 2.5m x 2m. Also a substantial turf and stone building 6.5m x 3m and a poorly preserved turf structure 9m x 3m, partially overlain by a smaller structure 5m x 2.3m. All the structures are completely vegetated.
