Type K6 telephone kiosk, designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott in 1935 and produced during 1936-1968. It is a standard cast-iron K6 telephone kiosk painted Post Office red, comprising three sides of lying-pane glazing (eight high), with narrow margin lights and a blind cast-iron panel to rear holding the telephone and shelf. At each side is a rectangular glass opal with 'TELEPHONE' in black lettering with a vent below and central embossed crown surmounting, rising into four segmental-headed pediments terminating in a saucer dome.
