Details Cottage, still in use, built in circa 1875. It is a single-storey, picturesque, gabled Swiss style cottage constructed from coursed, stugged granite with a base course, stop-chamfered arrises, polished dressings and timber mullions and transoms. There are sash and case windows with large square-panes and a grey slate roof with diamond stacks paired on pedestals to the gablehead and ridge, decorative scalloped timber barge boards and kingposts to the gables. To the north-west of the house is a slatted timber, rectangular-plan range of kennels and a bothy that are slate roofed with a stack to the west end.
