Grain kiln, built in the late 18th to early 19th century and restored in 1986 by R Callander, Master Dyker and Drystane Dyker. It is a circular-plan grain kiln built into the north-facing slope to the north of Haughend (NO59SE0053). The kiln has pink granite rubble battered walls, with a rubble-walled flue to the north at the base of the kiln and a stone lintel. A granite and earth ramp to the south leads to the top of the kiln. When restored in 1986 the remnants of the fire and some peat were still in situ.
