Remains of Marykirk market cross whose original site is unknown, but which stood near the gate of the churchyard in 1796. It was moved to this location in 1857. Only 0.78m of the shaft remains, showing that it had been oblong in section with the usual chamfered edges stepped at the bottom. It stands on a large stone base which, in turn, rests on another stone with chamfered edges.
