Details Farmstead, still in use, with a C-listed farmhouse built in circa 1820. It is shown on the 1st edition as a U-plan farmhouse with a U-plan steading to the north-east with an attached horsemill and an enclosure to the north. On the 2nd edition OS map there are some minor additions to the farmhouse, the court of the steading has been filled and the horsemill removed and replaced with another slightly to the north. Current OS maps show the farmhouse has been altered to L-plan, the buildings within the court of the steading, the horsemill and some sections of the earlier steading buildings have been removed. The C-listed farmhouse is a two-storey, three-window, squared rubble building with pinnings, low first-floor windows, lying pane glazing and a piended slated roof with tall end stacks, one rebuilt in brick.
