Details Remains of a pond, probably associated with the farmstead of Castleton of Kincardine, which is shown on the OS maps from the 1st edition onwards. On the 1st edition map it is shown as a pond. By the 2nd edition map it appears to have been drained and planted with trees. The western edge is reflected in the field boundary from the 1st edition OS map onwards. It is visible as partially infilled with field stones on vertical aerial photographs taken in 1977 and 1988.
