Walled burial ground and site of the old parish church of Newdosk, dedicated to St Drostan, annotated on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps as site of Chapel of Neudos. The OS Name Book recorded that the foundation of the building was then easily traced. The church measured circa 18 m by 5.5 m, and in the late 19th century the thick mortared walls still stood to a height of circa 0.3 m. At that time a broken octagonal font lay a short distance from the west end and the burial ground was still in use about 1860. A raised mound probably indicates where it once stood, although the OS in 1971 noted that there was then no trace of the church or font. By that time the burial ground was no longer in use. It is likely that the church fell out of use after the union of Newdosk and Edzell parishes in 1658. The walled burial ground surrounding the church is sub-rectangular in plan, with rounded corners and has ashlar gate piers. Also now known as New Dosk.
