Settlement and field system, comprising ring ditch houses, stone banks and clearance heaps. One ring-ditch house is circa 12m in diameter, edged by a concentric low mound of stones in which the occasional larger block is visible. Associated with it is a suite of near-parallel, slightly sinuous dry-stone banks, about 40m apart, with traces of cross-dykes and stone clearance heaps. There is also a more irregular structure and two further ring-ditch houses, one circa 12m in diameter with little signs of a delimiting bank, the other circa 14m in diameter, slightly scarped into the hill-side and edged by a drystone bank, especially on its southeast, downslope, side. Further west is a possible, but much decayed hut circle, circle 9m across. This is the only known site north of the Mounth which exhibits this range of features.
