Details The farmstead of Mains of Glassel is depicted on the OS map of 1867 and 1888 as a U-shaped steading with open court to the south. A small building lies on the south side of the court. The house lies further to the south. A mill pond with lade leading to the west side of the farm, where the mill presumably was, lies to the north west. The farmstead has been added to and the court is now built over, although the pond and lade are still evident.
