A turf-covered earth and stone mound, trapezoidal in shape, aligned northwest-southeast located on the shoulder of a hill. It is circa 33m long, 11m wide at the northwest end and 22m wide at the southeast end. Height varies from 1.0-1.4m at northwest to 0.4m high at the southeast end. A spread of field clearance lies on top at the northwest end. A later field bank from the nearby medieval field system runs over the top of the mound. An erosion scar on the northeast side revealed it to be of earth and stone construction. It is interpreted as a possible Neolithic long cairn.
