Details An area of cairns lies within woodland north of Shooting Green. It is difficult to determine the full extent of the cairns due to forest cover, but they certainly extend south-east into an open area outwith the forest. The cairns are circa 4-6 m in diameter. At least two near the edge of the forest appear to have been altered to form possible shooting butts, as they have been hollowed and the edges raised slightly. Another similar one lies outside the forest to the east in a field. There are also possible field banks visible beside it. A boundary bank has been recorded between NO63619440 and NO63579479.
