Details Airfield used during World War II between 1942 and 1944 as a satellite to Peterhead Airfield before being closed. It is now part used for light industry and agriculture. Also was used as base for a small flying club. Some hangars still survive, also air-raid shelters around the dispersal area to the northeast.
