Cottage, still in use, built in the mid 19th century. It is a single-storey and attic, four-bay coursed rubble cottage with ashlar dressings two courses deep and raised cills. There is a panelled door, two-pane fanlight and three windows. Two dormers have narrow pilasters and barge boards, and the slate roof has straight skews with block ends and end stacks. This cottage dominates its earlier neigbour Ross Cottage (NO77NW0142).
