Former inn, now in use as a public house, built in the early 19th century. It is depicted as an inn on the 1st edition OS map and a hotel on the 2nd edition. It is an L-plan stuccoed building that is two-storey and attic to the main part with a gable to the road and a single-storey and attic wing. The slate roofs has straight skews and a stack rebuilt in brick. The south elevation is three-window with central door in a plain painted architrave and two bowed dormers. The Kintore Street gable has one off-centre window to both floors, and the single-storey and attic wing at an intermediate level with a door, window and bowed dormer.
