Details The Glenbervie war memorial stands in front of the Glenbervie West church (NO78SE0121) . It commemorates the dead from World War I. It is a slightly tapered octagonal stone shaft with a round crosshead on top. Below the cross and around its base are four carved praying angels above a floriated border. The shaft sits on a cross-shaped base on which three of the forward faces bear the name inscriptions. It sits on a two-stepped circular base. It was unveiled on December 3 1921. In the wall of the church is a small inset plaque for the memorial to World War II dead. Full transcription of memorial held in AAS Digital Archive.
