Details Former school, now in use as a public hall. It was a Red Cross Auxiliary hospital during World War I. It is shown on the 1st edition OS map (1864) as two separate buildings, and at this time is used as a school. On the 2nd edition OS map (1901), the two buildings have been joined into one to form a public hall. There have been some later further alterations.
