Remains of recumbent stone circle, of which only five stones remain. At least two of the stones have been removed and the recumbent is not visible. It may be hidden in a mass of stones which are heaped on the nearby wall. The north stone was removed to its present position in circa 1878 after having lain prostrate somewhere near for an unknown time. A double dyke of great extent encloses a vast heap of stones, itself and its contents probably containing the missing portion of the circle. When the dyke was built, human bones were found near the centre of the circle. There are 4 standing stones and one prostrate. It cannot be ascertained which stones are in situ.
