Details Well, built in the early 19th century. The Duthie family, who made their money from ship building and the manufacture of rope, helped fund the building of the well. A square ashlar structure encloses the well, and has a base course, cyma recta cornice, blocking course and a shallow modern concrete slab top. The west face has a metal plaque and spout and a cornice inscribed 'Duthie's Well'. The east face has a rectangular opening abutting the cornice. Site visit in 2022 as part of the SCAPE Coastal Zone Assessment Survey nthis remains in good condition.
