Symbol stone, a natural rectangular monolith standing 2.35m high, bearing an Ogham inscription. On the northeast face is a Pictish symbol of a double-disc with cross-bar, below which are traces of another symbol involving circles. The stone has been laser scanned and this has revealed that one of the symbols on the northeast face, circa 90cm from the top, is a rectangle with circles in the corners. There is possible other decoration within the rectangle. The southeast angle bears a complete Ogham inscription, said to be reading VUO NO N (I) TEDOV. The symbols are considerably weathered and are now almost completely obscured. The stone is alleged to have been part of a stone circle but no sign of one could be seen in 1865 or 1965.
