Asymmetrical gabled 2-storey gate lodge, attributed to A. and W. Reid dating to 1873. Three-bay west facing elevation (to road). Tooled rubble with tooled ashlar dressings. Near centre entrance with plank door with ornamental cast-iron hinges flanked at left by advanced and gabled bay with ground floor tripartite. Paired ridge and end tall coped octagonal stacks, flat skews with shaped skewputts and apex finials, steeply pitched slate roof.
