Remains of field system with two contemporary oval huts. Stone clearance heaps mark the system with occasional lynchets but details are obscured by afforestation. Hut A measures 15 m from the west-northwest through through the ill-defined entrance in the east-southeast, by about 12 m transversely, between the centre of a wall spread to about 2.5 m all round. Hut B measures about 11 m from west-northwest through the ill-defined entrance in the east-southeast, by about 9.5 m transversely between the centres of a wall spread to about 2.5 m all round, with occasional outer facing stones visible in the west arc. A feature at NJ 0258 4702 described and surveyed as a hut circle, measuring about 8.5 m in diameter with an entrance in the south, is now in too poor a condition to classify with certainty, but seems more likely to be a fortuitous arrangement resulting from tree uprooting around a stone clearance heap. Visited by RCAHMS on the 4th July 1991 when the northerly hut-circle appeared to be situated in a mature plantation and could not be located. The more southerly could not be located in an area of more recent afforestation. The area had been deep ploughed and numerous damaged cairns were seen.
