Former manse attributed to John Paterson, Edinburgh, dated 1823. South facing 2-storey, butterfly plan house with single storey outer wings. Harled with tooled ashlar margins. A 2-storey demi-octagonal centre bay projects south (drawing room) and north (porch with side entrance), flanked either side by two bays with further single bay end wings returning to make shallow rear court. Regular fenestration with slightly shorter first floor windows, and centre first floor window in rear. There is 12-pane glazing throughout. Paired coped ridge stacks and coped end stacks. Shallow piended slate roof with projecting eaves. Manse steading to the north-west demolished circa 1975.
