Bank attributed to Thomas Mackenzie, in 1843, incorporating earlier building probably by William Robertson. Constructed in ashlar with rusticated ground floor. 2 storeys, 6 bays with second and fifth bays slightly advanced as pylon features and broad giant anta pilasters at ends. Cornice and blocking course, carried up as parapets at second and fifth bays. First floor band course and aprons at first floor windows. Modern glazing at ground floor and 2-pane plate-glass introduced at first floor. At the rear is a courtyard with Roman Doric arch with scrolled consoles at sides and an early 19th century doorpiece.
