Supposed cairn, named 'Macbeth's Hillock', is merely a hillock of blown sand covered with water worn stones. The top was dug into and found to have been used as a fireplace; blackened earth extended to 48cm, below was blown sand. In the earth were 2 fragments of the lower stones of saddle querns. Neither name or position known locally, and the site was not located by OS in 1971.
