Pill box and double line of anti-tank blocks, on the north east side of Findhorn village. The anti-tank cubes are 5 ft square, and at one time completely crossed the peninsula. There is a transition in the line from the cubes having the flat face outwards to diagonal placement. The blocks are visible on wartime RAF aerial photographs (NLA 57, 5016-17, 21/02/1943). These are the western end of an anti-invasion barrier along the beach from Burghead to Findhorn (see also NJ16NW0075). At this end were seven truncated hexagon pillboxes set behind or in the line of cubes, with three embrasures facing the sea.
