Findhorn House said to date from 1770 with various subsequent alterations and additions, one of which is dated 1870. Extensive house with double gables to harbour. Rubble built with ashlar margins and dressings. 18th century core consists of double gabled, south-facing, 3-storey, irregular 6-bay house with regular 2-window fenestration in each of the two west-facing gables. Extensive rear additions to north including symmetrical 3-storey, 2-bay elevation to the west. Irregular gabled street frontage at the east with recessed entrance. Mainly 12-pane glazing. End stacks, some with moulded 18th century copes, substantial additional brick gable stack at the east. Varied roof heights, all slated. Extensive glazed modern sun parlour partially heightened to 2-storeys to accommodate yacht racing judges' box at southwest.
